For the past hour, as a picturesque evening snow fell lightly on Madison Avenue, he has talked expansively about his background as a Washington insider, his twenty years as a key Seagram’s executive, and his current role as secretary-general of the World Jewish Congress.
Then I mention that several people from other Jewish organizations have said they were not at all surprised by the difficulties the World Jewish Congress has been facing, that its weak administration and sloppy record-keeping were an open secret. The WJC was, according to one insider, “a volcano waiting to erupt.”

Like the Agatha Christie twist in Murder on the Orient Express, there have been many killers of the American Republic.
There is of course the obvious culprit, finally and widely acknowledged these days. This is the Spirit (and reality) of Empire, which has provided a none-too-subtle knife in the back. Since the days of Rome, people have understood the incompatibility of republican institutions with the tools of conquest and empire. By the time of Caesar, for instance, Roman rule stretched throughout the Mediterranean, dominating peoples as diverse as those under American military hegemony today.

“The destination would be chosen only to cause the flight plan route to cross _________. The passengers would be a group of college students off on a holiday or any grouping of persons with a common interest to support chartering a non-scheduled flight.
a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be loaded with the selected passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone.
b. Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rendezvous ______________. From the rendezvous point the passenger-carrying aircraft will descend to minimum altitude and go directly into an auxiliary field at Eglin AFB where arrangements will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the aircraft to its original status. The drone aircraft meanwhile will continue to fly the filed flight plan. When over __________ the drone will being (begin) transmitting on the international distress frequency a ‘May Day’ message stating he is under attack by ______________aircraft. The transmission will be interrupted by destruction of the aircraft which will be triggered by radio signal. In late February I put my book table inside Jerusalem's Convention Center where the Chabad had organized an anti Gush Katif surrender gathering, As I sold a book a minute, I was interviewed by the literary editor of the Jerusalem Post, Eliot Jager. He is writing an article about the spread of "conspiracy theories" in Israel and who better to talk to than the "father" of this nefarious turn of literary events. I didn't take notes, he did. But this is how I recall part of the interview went:
EJ - Don't you get hurt by the rejection you suffer from the mainstream writers?
BC - No Israeli writer born in an English-speaking country sells nearly as many books as I do in Israel. Can you name another writer who can put a table down and sell 100 books in three hours? I am the mainstream...........
