(Comments by Mike Young)
The Lord Monarch of the Universe said, "COME NOW LET US BE REASONABLE. Let us reason together ..............
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be
as red scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
God as the reining Monarch of the Universe tries to reason with his creation. You have sinned. You have rebelled against me. I shall turn your red stain of sin white as wool.
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin (26 other times the noun "maiden" Hebrew `almah' is directly translated into the English language as VIRGIN) shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be
upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The
mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
The birth of a Messiah Child will usher in a time Peace. This Messiah shall rule the world and he shall be called Wonderful.
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in
the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Isaiah 9:2
Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a
Branch shall grow out of his roots: Isaiah 11:1
The Branch is the Redeemer and military leader like David the leader of battle.
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand
for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest
shall be glorious. Isaiah 11:10
The Root of Jesse the future Messiah the entire world will adore.
But now thus saith the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that
formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you
by thy name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when you walk through the fire, you shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:1-2
Fear me not because of your sin. For I have redeemed you from your sin and rebellion. The eternal flames of fire shall not hurt you.
Sin is what separates you from me. I have redeemed you from that wall of sin that separates you from me.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:6
Like every sheep on the planet we have got lost from the Master Shepherd. We have decided to go our own way. The LORD has placed on him (Messiah) the sin of all of us.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is
dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression
of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death;
because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isaiah 53:-10
The Monarch of the Universe cannot stand sin he has placed on him your sin. That is why the Messiah must die and be placed into the grave.
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root
out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see
him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. Isaiah 53:2
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: When you
shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong
his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge
shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil
with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was
numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:11-12
The Messiah was killed along with other transgressors. He died as a sin offering so that we could live.
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the
ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he has prepared for
him that waits for him. You meet him that rejoices and works righteousness, those that remember you in thy ways: Behold, you are angry; for we have sinned: in
those is continuance, and we shall be saved. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy
rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken
us away. Isaiah 64:4-6
Even with all the good works that we can place on the scales of Michael, we come up short. Our sin out weighs all our good works.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting
strength: Isaiah 26:4
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts;
I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isaiah 44:
Unto me every knee shall bow. Isaiah 45:23
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon
thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the
people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon
thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of your
rising. Isaiah 60:1-3
Both the House of Israel and all world Gentiles are welcome to turn from dark sin and accept me as the true Light of the world.
And in that day shall you say, Praise the
LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Isaiah 12:4
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6
Then shalt you call, and the LORD shall
answer; you shall cry, and he shall say, Here
I am. Isaiah 58:9
And it shall come to pass, that before they
call, I will answer; and while they are yet
speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and
read: Isaiah 34:16
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6
To summarize the prophet Isaiah. The Messiah shall first come to earth, be born of a virgin, shall die a common death along with other sinners. He shall be lifted up. He shall be reviled. He shall redeem those who believe from their sins. The entrance into eternal life is to accept the words of the Old Testament prophet.
Pretty simple. God through the prophet claims humans must recognize one simple fact "WE HAVE SINNED". Sin is what separates us from knowing the Monarch of Universe.
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.
God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. Man is continually trying to reach God and eternal life through his own efforts, such as living a good life, following specific philosophies or religions, etc.
We must individually RECEIVE the Messiah that has died. The Messiah has come and died for our sins. The sacrifices mankind has been doing since creation is finished.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name"
John 1:12
We believe in the Messiah Through Faith.
We receive the Messiah by Personal Invitation.
The Messiah said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." Revelation 3:20
Accepting the Messiah involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting the Messiah to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us the kind of people He wants us to be.
Just to agree intellectually that the Son of God has come and was indeed born of a virgin and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience.
We accept or receive Yeshua the Messiah by faith, as an act of the will or submission to a higher Authority of a Just God. That same Redeemer will soon claim his crown and rule the world from Jerusalem, the City of Peace.
You can receive Yeshua right now by faith through this simple prayer. God is not so concerned with your specific words since he knows all the attitudes of our heart. The following is a simple prayer of How to remove the sin that separates us from God.
"Dear God Monarch of the Universe, I need you. Thank You for allowing your son to die on the cross for my sins. I realize I have done wrong. I have sinned.
I now open the door of my life and receive You as my Messiah and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.
In the name of the Son of God the Messiah who I will see rule the earth some day. I also thank you I will stand in the day of Resurrection. All these words I pray.
Thank you Lord God of Heaven. Amen."
