Folly Nearly Destroyed 2500 years of Western Art"

"Nobody who has invested much time down
a blind alley likes the messenger who shines a light at the brick wall up ahead."
For over 90 years, there has been a concerted and relentless effort to disparage, denigrate and obliterate the reputations, names, and brilliance of the academic artistic masters of the late 19th Century. Fueled by a cooperative press, the ruling powers have held the global art establishment in an iron grip. ........
GREAT STORY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ....

Snowflakes are temporary works of art. After just a few short minutes on the ground, a fallen snowflake will lose its ornate structure, its unique pattern that will never again be repeated. Photography allows us to preserve a few of these minute masterpieces and to examine their form up close ..............

Panoramic Northern Lights: Panavision Spectacular Photos Monday, August 30 @ 02:53:36 CDT by myoung (131 reads) | | By Mike Young
Some relative of my wife stopped in from Red Bluff, Redneckville, CA and so we drove over to Ester, Alaska. We watched the panavision photography set to symphony of the Northern Lights called the Crown of Lights.
I must relate this story. About 20 years ago a friend of mine stopped by Fairbanks, Alaska who had never seen the Northern Lights. He was driving his car when they bolted into the dark night and lit up the entire sky. He thought it was the Shekinah Glory of God returning to earth. He stopped his car and waited, waited and waited.
By the time he tells us the story we were in stitches. Well to us it was nothing new we in the Northern Hemisphere see the dark sky light up all the time.
These are great, one of a kind panoramic photos.
