Moses Staff with the Brass Serpant and the Caduceus Rod of Asclepius: Identical
(Comments: Mike Young. Mythology and the Bible. This will be an ongoing series of Mythology and the Bible. Virtually every story in the Bible can be found in Mythology.
Or as a pagan would say every story in mythology was copied in the Bible.)
This symbol of the snake winding around a branch staff was first found in the Garden of Eden. ---------------
Many "medical" organisations worldwide use a symbol of a short rod entwined by two snakes and topped by a pair of wings, which is actually the caduceus or magic wand of the Greek god Hermes (Roman Mercury), messenger of the gods. Staff of Asclepius (Ęsclepius, Asklepios)

So what is the Biblical Story?
Moses was leading the people in the wilderness. They had just departed the land of Egypt. They were complaining about everything (no food, no water, no onions, no refridgerators etc) so God sent snakes from every where to bite them. They all got poisened.
Moses complained to God. Why are you going to kill them all? God decided to spare some if they looked upon Moses staff upon which he was suppose to cast a brass snake and attach it to his rod. He was suppose to walk around and all those who were dying from the snake venom had to up look at it and be healed.
The words of Moses as he penned them at the time.
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye
brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread,
neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people;
and much people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have
spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he
take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a
pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh
upon it, shall live.
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to
pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of
brass, he lived.
OK SO WHAT? Moses rod and Asclepius rod are identical what is the big deal?
The Antichrist will be killed. Upon the resurrection of Christ (reincarnation) he will then be worshipped as the god of Medication Aescaplus except by those who know it is in fact the Great Deceiver. His deadly wound is healed.
Nearly all stories of mythology will happen again during the Great Tribulation. How is that possible? Details are covered in the book:
