Corrupt Airline Official Let Chechen Bombers Board Russian Planes — Prosecutor

Suicide bombers who caused the explosions on board of two Russian passenger jets that crashed on August 24 were allowed to board the planes for a bribe of 1000 rubles ($33), Russian Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov has said.
“The investigation of the crashes of the Tupolev-154 and Tupolev-134 plane crashes has established that an employee of the Sibir airline company, responsible for passenger registration and boarding, had put the terrorist on the plane, violating all rules and after receiving a bribe,” Ustinov said in an interview with the Interfax news agency. ...............
